The Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba manga revealed a special trailer dedicated to the Twelve Kizuki (Twelve Demon Moons), the main antagonists of the series led by Muzan Kibutsuji. The trailer was released in line with Setsubun festivities in Japan, a holiday that takes place before spring and celebrates with ogre masks. This year's Setsubun will take place on February 3, 2023.

Demon Slayer is a manga series by Koyoharu Gotoge that ran from 2016 to 2020 in Weekly Shonen Jump, consisting of 205 chapters and compiled into 23 volumes. The manga received a highly successful anime adaptation by Ufotable in 2019. The first season had 26 episodes and was followed by the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – Mugen Train movie in 2020. The movie's success led to the production of the second season of the anime, which started in October 2021 and included the TV version of the Mugen Train arc, followed by the Entertainment District Arc which introduced a new Hashira named Tengen Uzui. The third season, which will focus on the Swordsmith Village Arc, is set to premiere in April 2023 and will be preceded by a special screening tour that includes episodes 10 and 11 of the Entertainment District Arc and the first episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc.
